Speaking of Fall – its grape time. One of my clients sent me an email on the muscadine season in GA, one of the best grapes in SE USA for taste & nutrition. It’s makes a good wine – but eating it the way Mother Nature prepares them (fresh, ripe, whole, & organic) is truly best. Nicely high in anti-oxidants! The article appeared in the 9/09 Dr Sam News-letter - which is dedicated to natural health, healing, physical therapy & rehabilitation.           Also, the Fall is an important DEER reminder time. According to SavAmNews, 50,000 accidents annually involve deer there & it’s mostly at this time of year (& Spring) when their natural food sources become scarce so they migrate to road shoulders. Also, it’s mating season between Oct-Dec when males are actively searching for mates. The change in Daylight Savings time (11/1) makes days shorter & the nights longer w/rush hour for drivers when deer are most active at dawn & dusk. So slow down, please.
