Sun evening, the May 25th , was a special day of dedication for our expanded & renovated All Faiths Chapel & Community Centre. The church was almost packed as Rev Jerry Hammet read a psalm & litany & the wonderful choir (about 20 members present for this) thrilled us with their tremendous, “I Don’t Know the Future,” “Lord You Fill My Life With Gladness” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth.” Page Miller (President) did a superb job covering the history & intro-ducing all the many leaders & their roles starting back to 1967. Some of the names (& attendees) included: Schaufelber-ger, Cashdollar, Oppenheimer, Robinson, & more recenetly - Cooper, Assaf, Catlan, Grimsley, Buschur, Hutchinson, Smith & Gorham, Pepin & Aldrich. I probably left some out since we have 10 past presidents on the island! This facility is what makes THIS island so special (compared to other resort islands).
